How Dangerous are tornadoes?
Tornadoes are dangerous to people because it's violent. It speeds around at 300 mph and they suck up everything in it's path. They pick up cows,windmills,fences,houses,and cars too. So if you see a funnel in the sky, or here a sound that sounds like a train, that's a sign that a tornado is on it's way. If your outside and you see clouds spinning in a circular motion and its really windy then there's a tornado coming and is about to hit. When a tornado hits you don't want to be outside,you would rather be in your house in a closet or a basement. Tornadoes take away precious things away from families like farms and animals and family members.

How do people protect themselves from tornadoes?
1.make sure your school or house has a plan if a tornadoes were to ever hit.
2.If you are in a moble home or are in a car (if you are ever in a car and you spot a tornado.DON'T try to out run it so many people lost there lives for trying to out run tornadoes).When you spot a tornado make sure to get out of you car and go in a ditch or (a hole),get on your knees (like a rock position) and your face in the ground and put your hands over your head.
3.The safest place to be when your at home is to be in a small closet or basement.NEVER be by a window or objects that could hurt you because you can die!!!
People will sometimes take food or any supplies to basements and they will take anything they will need just in case they get hungry.Escpially when its going to be a long tornado hit!!

Well after a Tornado the air is bad for people because you won't be able to breath.It can also cause problems for people like you can die or get hurt in some way.Tornadoes can also blow houses,cattle,horses,and other animals away,and they can destroy land.It leaves people with no homes and theres no running away from Tornadoes,no matter how hard you try to run they always get you but you can be protected by them.You can go into a your bathroom or get against a wall and protect yourselfs with a mattress or something to block yourself.You can die from being outside or inside your house if you live in a two story house the house can collapse on you thus killing instantly.Losing everything in your life like your homes or anything special to you has a hard impact on yourself.
